The Linux Virtual Server is a highly scalable and highly available
server built on a cluster of real servers, with the load balancer
running on the Linux operating system.

The OpenSSL Project is a collaborative effort to develop a robust,
commercial-grade, full-featured, and Open Source toolkit implementing the
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1)
protocols as well as a full-strength general purpose cryptography library.

PuTTY
PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Win32 platforms, along with an
xterm terminal emulator. It is written and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham.

Linux/Sun3
This page contains some pointers and references to getting Linux running
properly on the Sun 3/xx line of workstations/servers. It does not cover
the Sun3x systems (which also will happily run Linux), but it might

SILO
SILO, the Sparc Improved boot LOader, is a booting loader program that
runs from the PROM of SPARC (32-bit) and UltraSPARC (64-bit) based systems.
It can be used for the booting of Linux, Sun OS and Sun Solaris operating
systems from ext2fs, ufs, romfs and iso9660 file systems.

SoX
SoX, the swiss army knife of sound processing programs. SoX is a command line
utility that can convert various formats of computer audio files in to other
formats. It can also apply various effects to these sound files during the
conversion. As an added bonus, SoX can play and record audio files on several
unix style platforms.

UltraLinux
UltraLinux is the name given to the port of Linux the SPARC™ family of
processors most commonly found in Sun™ workstations and clones. The port
has been developed over the past few years and is currently very stable.

Vger Sparc
vger.rutgers.edu was one of the best known places. It hosted Linux development
mailing lists, the SparcLinux project master CVS sources, and the SparcLinux
FTP archive before the machine crashed beyond recovery in August 2000.
